NEW IB Program Coming to Reagan
The International Baccalaureate Organization has just introduced a new program called the IB Career Certificate (IBCC). This program is available to juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career track while still in high school. The IBCC is dedicated to the development of career ready graduates, whether they decide to go to college or to pursue another life path after high school graduation.
Participants will take 2-3 IB courses at Reagan (English, World Language and History in the 11th grade and English and a course called Approaches to Learning in the 12th grade) while taking an additional course each semester at the MATC south campus (in Oak Creek) that is just a few miles from Reagan. We consider this to be a complementary piece to the current Reagan High School IB line up. We are working to develop the program and seek authorization from IBO.
