Dear Reagan IB High School Freshman:

The new school year is quickly approaching.  I hope you have had an enjoyable summer.  All of us at Reagan IB High School are looking forward to welcoming you.  We are excited to assist you as you begin your high school career.

Our School community will be hosting a Freshmen Bridge Program for all incoming ninth grade students and their families.  During this time we will introduce you to teachers, guidance counselors and other staff members. Below is the dates for Reagan High School summer Bridge Program:

  • IB School Calendar: August 2, 3, 4 (9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.)

Rufus King, Pulaski, Reagan

There will also be a series of short breakout sessions featuring the following:

  1. Student leaders will discuss getting involved, and teacher expectations
  2. Extracurricular activities, ID passes,
  3. Community Building
  4. Academic Enrichment

In addition to the above, you will receive your tentative class schedule and locker assignment, and students from our high school will provide tours of the building.  The final day will conclude with a barbecue for all in attendance.

It is very common for students to be a bit nervous about starting high school.  At Reagan IB High School we make it a priority that your transition to ninth grade is smooth and successful.  You will meet many students and staff who are dedicated to making this happen.  My best advice to you is to attend school every day, work hard, and get involved in the school community.  Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it and remember, this is your school!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school at 304-6100.

If you cannot attend please contact your school at 304-6100.
